Emmanuel Ohene Boafo 🇬🇭
For Emmanuel Boafo, performance has always been a no-brainer, and it all started when he saw Back Fire. At just 14, Emmanuel knew that he, too, would grace the stage one day.
He wasn’t wrong. Though, negotiating his passions with Ghanaian parents would be a balancing act — expectation vs. passion.
His undeniable talent has taken the Dutch film scene by storm. Earning him many awards along the way, from the Guido the Moor Award for Best Young Actor to being the first Black actor to win the prestigious Louis d’Or for his role in the play Sea Wall by Simon Stephens.
Emmanuel has made it his mission to shed light on the untold stories of our multifaceted community through authenticity and a positive mindset.
